How to read this tier framework

+1 DMG FPS is not a gacha unit roster game. Your “tier list” is a gun and power-spike framework: which weapons feel worth Medals at each stage of the incremental loop, when to hold currency for the next bracket, and how Buddy and Rebirth change the ranking after Update V1.2.

Detailed weapon-by-weapon notes live on the Guns Tier List. This hub explains the ranking lens so those grades stay consistent as Mappy Tappy ships new areas and Stage Bosses.

Core ranking criteria

We weight guns and helpers by:

  1. Damage per Medal spent — does this unlock accelerate +1 DMG stacking enough to pay for itself?
  2. Stage clear speed — can you push new areas and Stage Bosses without stalling?
  3. Rebirth synergy — is the gun still relevant after a huge power reset boost, or is it a bridge weapon?
  4. Mobile + PC feel — servers support both; spray patterns and aim assist matter on touch screens.
  5. Buddy pairing (V1.2+) — weapons that free you to reposition while Buddy helps destroy enemies rise in value.

We do not mix in Soul Rings, Death Road floors, or Reaper followers from the unrelated title +1 DMG Per Revive.

Progression brackets

Starter tier

Your first guns exist to teach the loop: AI robots attack Earth, you shoot, every hit adds damage, Medals fund the next barrel. Starter weapons should be cheap, reliable, and good enough to earn the Defender of Earth badge (destroy your first robot) without stress. Do not hoard Medals endlessly here — early upgrades compound.

Priorities:

  • Unlock the first meaningful damage bump quickly
  • Learn safe kiting on 16-player servers
  • Confirm Buddy is active once V1.2 content is available on your client

Mid-game tier

Mid guns appear when Medals are steady and you are rotating through denser enemy waves. Look for weapons that raise clear speed without demanding perfect aim every second. This is where bad spends hurt: flashy unlocks that barely beat your current DPS waste time you could invest toward a Rebirth breakpoint.

Ask before every purchase:

  • Does this help me reach the next area faster than farming longer with my current gun?
  • Will I Rebirth soon enough that a cheaper bridge gun is smarter?

Cross-check habits against the Rebirth Checklist and the early route in Getting Started.

Late-game tier

Late guns assume you already understand Medal pacing and are pushing harder stages. Value shifts toward sustained DPS, boss-friendly patterns, and kits that work while Buddy contributes. Stage Bosses added in V1.2 punish low burst and poor positioning — grade late weapons on boss windows, not only trash clear.

Rebirth-gated tier

Some power is intentionally locked behind Rebirth. Treat rebirth-gated guns as long-term targets, not panic buys. Rebirth grants huge power boosts; spending every Medal on a pre-rebirth vanity unlock can delay the spike that makes the entire arsenal feel stronger. Plan the gate, Rebirth cleanly, then reassess the Guns Tier List with your new baseline DMG.

Buddy value after Update V1.2

V1.2 added a Buddy that helps destroy enemies, plus Stages BOSS content and bug fixes. Buddy is not a gun, but it changes tier math:

  • Weapons that require constant perfect tracking drop slightly if Buddy covers chip damage.
  • Mobility-friendly guns rise because you can reposition while Buddy pressures targets.
  • Boss stages reward coordinated burst — your shots plus Buddy pressure.

When ranking after a patch, re-test mid and late brackets with Buddy enabled before locking an S-tier claim.

How to use this hub each session

  1. Skim Updates for balance or new unlocks (start with Update V1.2).
  2. Open the Guns Tier List for the current bracket you can afford.
  3. Check Codes for any verified Medal boosts (none publicly verified yet).
  4. Align spend with your next Rebirth using Tools.
  5. Farm with friends using Players etiquette so contested packs do not waste DPS.

What “S-tier” means here

S-tier in +1 DMG FPS means best Medal efficiency for your current rebirth depth, not a forever ranking. A starter S pick becomes filler after two Rebirths. Revisit this hub whenever Mappy Tappy ships guns, Boss stages, or event rewards — including the teaser window around Saturday, September 19, 2026.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about +1 DMG FPS progression, codes, and updates.

Is this a character tier list?

No. +1 DMG FPS rankings focus on gun progression brackets and helpers like Buddy, not a gacha unit roster.

Where is the detailed gun ranking?

Open the Guns Tier List subpage linked from this hub for weapon-by-weapon notes inside each bracket.

How did Update V1.2 change tiers?

Buddy adds assist damage and Stages BOSS raises the value of boss-friendly DPS. Re-test mid and late guns with Buddy active.

Should I buy every gun before Rebirth?

Usually no. Bridge into a sensible Rebirth breakpoint, take the power spike, then reassess rebirth-gated options.

Do you include +1 DMG Per Revive items?

Never. Soul Rings, Death Road, and Reaper tools belong to a different Roblox game and are not part of this tier framework.
